I got my X50V 2 month ago and done something on port Linux to X50V,but there are few information available.
I have got the following information.
   1)Sound Card:WM8750L from product spec,the document is available from website of WM8750L
   2)display Card:it shall be a 2700G7 ,the document is available from intel website
   3)LCD controller:in PXA270 and INTEL 2700G,the driver for PXA270 is available in armLinux,for 2700G is N/A
   4)wifi card,TI-ACX connect to CF interface,the document of TI-ACX is N/A,but there is a opensource driver for TI-ACX,
the information about the CF interface is N/A
   5)bootload:
        a) HaRET can not run on X50V because X50v use windows mobile 2003 SE,project for HP4700 have alread ported it to WM2003 SE.
        b)enterbootloader.exe in the upgrade package version A02 for X50v can boot X50V to USB bootloader mode,then upgrade program can communication with X50V via USB for ROM upgrade,I think we can get some information for ROM upgrade by
disassemble these program.

   BTW: enterbootloader.exe also available in upgrade package for X30
