Hello autobuilders,
Here at ISI we've got a PXA250-based board running Linux. Right now
we're able to boot Familiar images with some success. But what I
really want is a filesystem sitting next to a corresponding pile of
source code from which it was built.
I'm looking into various build systems to find what would make the
most sense to use. Once I choose one, I'll likely be able to
contribute some effort to its improvement.
So, what's the current status of the autobuild project? Is the current
implementation fairly complete? Any major unsolved problems? (eg. How
can I help?)
What do we need to do to be able to get all of Familiar autobuilt?
How hard would it be to get the autobuild stuff set locally if I
wanted to try that? (eg. is there documentation for that yet? has
anyone attempted it before?).
The other system I'm looking into is the openembedded.org build
system, (which is a follow on to the OpenZaurus buildroot). I'm doing
similar information gathering there.
