Hello,
I have A716, and I am trying to boot from nfs.
I think I have everything setup OK, but my pda does not find the nfs
server (which is my laptop connected by the usb cable).
In fact, when I am in wince, I can see /dev/ttyUSB0 device and ppp0
interface (after starting synce). But as soon as I run the loader
MyPal716_Linux.exe and the kernel boots, the ppp0 interface and ttyUSB0
device are gone, and then pda cannot see my laptop.
I tried this method some time ago (2 years?) and then it worked. Now I
have different laptop with different (newer) software.
I got following errors:
usb 5-1: USB disconnect, address 6
ipaq 5-1:1.0: device disconnected
device ppp0 left promiscuous mode
ipaq ttyUSB0: PocketPC PDA converter now disconnected from ttyUSB0
usb 5-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 7
usb 5-1: device descriptor read/8, error -110
usb 5-1: device descriptor read/8, error -110
What could be the reason? Is it expected that after booting kernel, the
USB connection is terminated?
Any hints appreciated.
Regards,
miko
