[asus-port] problems with self-compiled kernel for A730

i compiled a kernel with toolchain.
i used the config file: asus730_defconfig
the compilation works fine.
but using the new zImage, the bootstrap hangs up.
the last command that is written is:
Warning: unable to open an initial console.

What could be the reason for that ?
can anyone give me a config file tried and working for Asus A730 ?
