Hi. Is it possible to make a kernel, which would work without initrd. I have
A620. I have working combination of kernel 2.6.16-hh2 and initrd, which uses
cardmgr to activate pcmcia bus and CF card. After that /dev/hda2 appears. As
I have understood from
http://kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/kernel/pcmcia/cardmgr-to-pcmciautils.html
it is possible not to use cardmgr. I also know that kernel for hx4700 can
boot without carmgr. Is it possible to do this with asus?
