what about having the calibration program asking you to tap a few more
points and then make a linear fit?
The fact that I can get an acceptable calibration just by touching
_near_ the crosses and not _on_ the crosses means that a linear
interpolation is good enough, it just need better parameters

there is a process that wot go to sleep or die when killed. I do not
have my device with me I'll tell you the name later
