[asus-port] Fwd: About the Mypal touchscreen

Hi all,
there could be good news about the touchscreen driver. Markus has
identified the chip on his A730 and it looks like someone already
wrote a driver for it. If you are interested you can probably read his
accomplishments on the A730 wiki:
http://www.handhelds.org/moin/moin.cgi/MyPal730
(I am also forwarding you part of the emails we exchanged)

Markus also identified a lot of hardware on his a730. I don't have the
ability to find this out myself but I think a620, a716 and a730
probably have much hardware in common so this could be a good news for
everybody.

Bye to all,

Michele

Hello,
[snip]
The driver is already ported to 2.6 and it loads but
seems to need a little tweaking before it will work.

You will find further updates on the wiki pages.

Thanks and regards,
                Markus
