Yes, that's a pain... I actually did this. The fact is I wanted the
thing to run ASAP when I hacked through linexec. I made a quick and
dirty fix, which is there.
For the relative path, I seem to remember WinCE has nothing like a
working directory, so it could be harder to implement.

Actually it must have been your editor which put some unix newlines
instead of dos in the file. Maybe should you use an editor which keeps
the style (emacs, maybe others), or convert the file with some tools
like perl, (from|to)dos, ...
